I am in Control...
Ok here we are again and let me tell you “I am in control” sometimes seems far from the truth!!
But reality is, it is the truth, we are the ones in control of ourselves at least.

March 30 National I am in control day according to the National Day Calendar as well as National take a walk in the park day (Source).
How fitting the 2 are on the same day as to take control, sometimes we just have to stop and regroup or take a walk outside.
This world has become too busy and overwhelming at times. It may feel like everything is spinning out of control which could result in you feeling lost or empty.

So what can we do?
Look at what is in our control truly. We (me included at times) can get caught up in everything with work, school, family, the list goes on and on right? But actually, we need to stop take a breath (literally) and say, can I control this?? If so, then do it. Fix it or whatever you need to do to stop the cycle. However, if you have no control over this, then let it go. That is easier said then done and something we all (me again) are a work in progress on. It does get easier and you can catch this quicker and move past the more you do it which is good.
Now, you may be wondering...
How does this fit into National a walk in the park day? Taking time for yourself and decompressing allows up to gain more prospective and really see what we can control and what we cannot. Walking, anywhere not just a park, is a great way to do this if done properly. What do I mean by done properly? Just being present. No headphones or any distractions of any sort. Just being present in the walk using your 5 senses as you do this, mindful walking. This is a great way to just let go and enjoy what is around you.

However, you don’t need to and I wouldn’t follow this word for word, another task. This is not meant to be a task or something hard. Remember when you were a child and would just go play, no worries just having fun enjoying the outside? That is what I am meaning, disconnect and just be.
So remember on March 30 and everyday.
I am in control and take a walk in the park or anywhere.
Just be one with nature and restore yourself, your control.
