Take it to the Mat
“Take it to the mat” will be offered with each visit. I am a 200 hour yoga instructor working toward by 500 hour. If wanted, at the end of each session, we can complete some stretching, breathing or any form of yoga on the mat or chair to allow you to “leave it on the mat” and continue on with your day.

Our certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and integrative mental health professional (CIMHP) provides in-person and virtual appointments to treat the whole person and support your mental well-being. Collaboration with other providers as needed and agreed upon will be completed to support each individuals need.

Do I need to have insurance to be seen?
No – There are cash pay options to be seen in which no insurance is needed.
Does my insurance cover mental health care?
Maybe – Contact your carrier for insurance and determine what is or is not covered.
What type of treatment is billed?
The initial visit is a mental health intake for medication management (Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation with medical).
After this, it depends on what we are doing. It could be just a 30 minute medication management code if there is not therapy completed during the visit. Typically, it is a medication management code and an add on therapy code due to our discussions and the use of therapeutic techniques (therapy).
There is also an option for the 60 minute appointment which would be medication management and an add on therapy or just straight medication depending on the circumstance.
This can be reviewed in more detail as needed with our visits.
Who can come with me?
Adults:
Anyone you provide consent to me about being in the room with you. I do however remind you this is your time and if someone else is in the room, your answers are more guarded. I will still obtain information from you and additional from this. It is still your appointment.
Minors:
There are law associated with minors and consent will need to be obtained to discuss items with their parents/guardian. The parents/guardians are allowed to provide me any information. I will complete time with parent(s)/guardians(s) and minor together and/or separate depending on circumstances.
Releases of information (ROIs) do I need them?
Yes – related to your medical team and therapist so I can share information with them to provide a team approach to your care.
You also can choose who else will be part of your treatment team such as any family if needed/wanted.
