March is a time to celebrate women! From International Women’s Day (March 8) to National Working Moms Day (March 12), these days recognize the strength, achievements, and contributions of women everywhere. Show your support by wearing purple, writing a heartfelt note, or helping lighten the load for the hardworking women in your life. Let’s uplift …
So this blog is for the celebration of women!!
Men your celebrations days are coming too.
So what can we do??
Lets raise up the women in our lives for all they do!!
I did not even know there was an International Women’s Day until a few years ago as one of the psychiatrists I worked with sent out an email related to this. I decided to add this into my blog to share information for all. This is a global day of celebration was started in 1911 looking toward equality for women. We celebrate the social, political, cultural and economic achievements of women. This continues to grow forward to this day, according to the International Women’s Day website.

Wear purple in support of women on March 8th and continue to work toward equality for all women everywhere.
Now to National Working Moms Day.
This one is actually new to me. I love the way that National Day Calendar started this one…”Every mom is a working mom”. Isn’t that the truth! From stay at home to owning their own business, moms are busy working for their family.

This is a day to celebrate all the women in your life do from your mother to your wife to your aunt and beyond. Celebrate those in your life who are working moms!
What can I do??
Lighten their load and show them how you care.
Write or create something from you (yes, I said write). We are so used to completing everything via electronic media such as a text, Snap or any other form of media, but something made/written by a person means so much more. Just write a note or make a thank you card. You could take over the evening items like making a meal. These are just examples. The list goes on and on and you know what the women in your life do.
Women complete self-care for you in whatever that may mean to you. This also does vary with the person, but do what you enjoy! Take a walk outside, take a bath, get your nails done or just sit and watch a movie with your family. Take down time for you.
So remember,
Lets celebrate the women in our lives on these special days and all year long!
