Random Acts of Kindness We are all so busy with what we are doing on a day to day basis; I think things from the past get lost. The rush we are in daily is exhausting to us all!! What I am proposing is just slowing down a little. Do something kind for someone daily. …
Kindness
As I was thinking about what to write this week, I looked at events or days on a national calendar. Did you know there is a “Random Acts of Kindness Day”? I did not, and it was 02/17/2025. As this day has already passed by the time this blog is coming out, I want us to focus on something for the rest of February and throughout the year.
So what can we do??
The goal and hope would be from this, paying it forward would occur. I have heard about (which I am sure others have as well) people paying for the next person in line somewhere. It may have even happened to you. How did you feel and what did you do?
What could you do?
Keep it going. It does not have to be buying something (money). I can be just like I said above something simple with a smile. Did you know a smile changes your brain chemistry for the positive? This is amazing that something so small could do so much. Your depression and anxiety can be reduced by the neurochemical release with this. These are some of the same neurochemicals that medications can target.
And don’t forget about laughter, this is amazing for us and should be done at least 1 time a day. This also lessens depression and anxiety. There is actually a laughter yoga. Here is an YouTube example from Mayo Clinic for you to laugh about….

The Meaning of Namaste
“Namaste” is a Sanskrit word that acknowledges the inestimable value of each individual. It is often used to greet and honor others. Translation: “As I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within myself, so do I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within you.”
