According to America Addiction Centers, 16.7% of Americans age 12 and older have a substance use disorder in the past year from their fact sheet with 2023 survey information from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Hope Is Here
There is hope in recovery which is what I want to focus on with our time today. At Evolve, we are here to meet you were you are in your own substance usage. There are
medications which can help and referrals can be discussed to follow up with addiction
counseling and/or therapy. Rehab Guide
We will focus on health, home, purpose and community which are the major dimensions of recovery according to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
(SAMHSA).
Working Together
You could be provided, if you qualify and are in agreement, medications such as naltrexone
(for alcohol use) or Suboxone (for opioid use) along with naloxone for safety related to any possible overdose. There are other medications that could be discussed as well depending
on you and your needs. This is working toward your health dimension.
We also will include the other dimensions as we work together to help you become your best self. This may be where reaching out to addiction counselors and/or therapist, if needed, could be of assistance to us when you are ready.
Medications would be discussed as part of a full treatment plan with a full mental health assessment with lab work that would be deemed necessary if not done recently. There are rules with prescribing some of the medications which would be discussed with each person as needed and consents obtained related to these.
Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) Releases
In this same survey, there was a section on recovery which I would like to highlight. 12% of
adults ages 18 and older (30.5 million) perceived having had a substance use problem with
73.1% of these considering themselves in recovery or having recovered (22.2 million). Also, in the adults 18 and older, 25.3% (64.4 million) perceived having had a mental health issue with 66.6% (42.7 million) considering themselves in recovery or having recovered which is according to SAMHSA.
So what this is telling me RECOVERY is possible and you are far from alone in this.

So Remember...
Working toward your best self in 2025 with Evolve Mental Health!!

The Meaning of Namaste
“Namaste” is a Sanskrit word that acknowledges the inestimable value of each individual. It is often used to greet and honor others. Translation: “As I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within myself, so do I acknowledge and honor the Spirit within you.”
